KEDARNATH DHAM 5Night/6Days |

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (215 kms/6hrs) Morning yoga and pranayam and other Yogic Kriya and B/F proceed to Guptkashi en route lunch Kirtinagar and drive to Rudraprayag, Narad Muni worshipped Lord Shiva. who appeared in his Rudra Avtaar (incarnation) to bless Narad. & (confluence of river Mandakin,from Kedarnath and Alaknanda, from Badrinath) enroute visit Deoprayag (confluence of river Bhagirthi, from Gomukh and Alaknanda, from Badrinath) and become a Ganga River. Evenings there would be meditation and other relaxation exercises & Bhajan Shandhya Dinner & Night stay, Guptkashi. |

Day 3: Guptkashi - Gaurikund (32kms/2hrs) - Kedarnath (14kms
Trek/6hrs) Kedarnath Temple: An imposing sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow covered peaks. The present temple, built in 8th century A.D. by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the exquisitely architecture Kedarnath temple is considered to be more than 1000 years old. Built of extremely large, heavy and evenly cut gray slabs of stones, it evokes wonder as to how these heavy slabs had been handled in the earlier days. The temple has a "Garbha Griha" for worship and a Mandap, apt for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. A conical rock formation inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form. Shankaracharya Samadhi : The Samadhi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is located just behind the Kedarnath temple. It is said that after establishing four sacred Dhams in India, he went into his samadhi at an early age of 32 years. the lake fascinates the visitors. Bhaironath temple :- About half a kilometer away from Kedarnathji, a small temple is dedicated to Bhaironath. It is worshipped on the opening and closing day of Sri Kedarnath Shrine. Ii is believed that when Kedarnathji temple is closed. Bhaironathji protects this land from evil. Vashki Tal :- This exquisite lake is placed at a height of 4150m above sea level. The 6 kms trek is quite difficult to access. The lake is surrounded by high mountains and offers a panoramic view of Chaukhamba peaks in clear sky. Bhrama Kamal, the state flower of Uttaranchal blooms around the lake during August-September. Chorabari (Gandhi Sarovar) : Only 1 km trek away from Kedarnath. Floating-ice on the crystal clear waters of the lake fascinates the visitors. |

Day 4: Kedarnath - Guptkashi Triyuginarayan : About 14 kms, on the main road, Sonprayag a place wher marriage of Lord Shiva & Parvati(Gauri). Lard Vaman Avtar Lord Vishnu) temple and Surya kund &Ygaya Mandap.
Day 5: Guptkashi - Hardwar (257kms/8hrs)
Day 6: Haridwar - Delhi (215kms/6hr) |
