GANGOTRI DHAM 4Night/5Days

The source of the most sacred river the “Ganga” is a picturesque pilgrimage destination in Himalayas is the most sacred spot where Ganga, the stream of life, touched earth fro the first time. According to mythology, Goddess Ganga, the daughter of heaven, manifested herself in the form a river to absolve the sins of king Bhagirath's predecessors, following his severe penance of 5500 years. Lord Shiva received into his matted locks to minimize the impact of her fall. The river itself begins at Gangotri which literally means Ganga Uttari or Ganga descending She came to be called Bhagirathi at her legendary source. The Shrine of Gangotri situated at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level amidst captivating surroundings along the right bank of Bhagirathi is 100 km from Uttarkashi. The Shrine of Gangotri opens during the last week of April or the first week of May, on the auspicious day od Akshaya Tritiya. The temple's closes on the day of Diwali followed by a formal closing ceremony amidst a row of oil lamps.

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (215 kms/6hrs)
Arrival Delhi Railway Station, Meet & Assist further drive to Hardwar, enroute lunch. Later drive to Hardwar transfer to your Hotel. Evenings there would be meditation and other relaxation exercises & Ganga Arti in Har-ki-Pauri . Back to your hotel, Dinner & Night stay.

Day 2: Haridwar – Harsil,Dharali (260kms/9hrs)
Morning yoga and pranayam and other Yogic Kriya and B/F proceed to Harsil en route lunch Uttarkashi and visit Lord Vishwanth Temple and en route visit Gangnani (hot water spring), arrived Harsil in evening, one of the most beautiful valleys in Haimalayas bank of river Bhagirthi. Evenings there would be meditation and other relaxation exercises & Ganga Arti. Dinner & Night stay .

Day 3: Harsil – Gangotri -Uttarkashi(Maneri) (22kms/1hrs & 83kms/4hrs)
Morning yoga and Pranayam and other yogic Kriya & After breakfast, we proceed to Gangotri (22 kms/1hrs &100km/4hrs). On arrival take a holy deep in the River scared The Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja and relax in the lovely surrounding. In the evening Darshan Vishwanath temple and visit Tapovan Kutir. Evening Meditation class & Dinner and overnight at Uttarkashi. (B.L.D)

Gangotri Temple: The temple, constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi (Maneri) – Haridwar (211kms/6hrs)
Morning yoga and Pranayam and other yogic Kriya & After breakfast, we proceed to Haridwar , en route lunch Chamba on the way visit Rishikesh sight seeing( Shivanada Ashram, Arti Parmath Niketan). Dinner and night at Haridwar.

Day 5: Haridwar - Delhi (215kms/6hr)
Morning yoga and Pranayam and other yogic Kriya & After breakfast, we proceed to Haridwar sight seeing (Bilkeshwar Mahadev, Mayadevi temple, Daksh Prajapati temple) en route lunch arrived Delhi in evening. On Arr. Delhi, Drop at Railway Station/Airport.
